![]() When a fifth user was created, it received the error=98 message. Yes, we use the Pervasive engine and the UNC path is used. Go to Accpac Database Setup, and change the location to UNC path.Įrror=113 is unusual, it's normally only seen on Netware servers. You didn't say which database, but I assume it's Pervasive.2000 Workgroup.Įrror=98 means the drives aren't mapped properly, i.e., C: instead of E: where the data is. I believe all this strangeness began when our ACCPAC support person advised me to remove and reinstall ACCPAC to fix another problem.(Didn't help). When ACCPAC starts and the logon window opens, the password space is grayed out (hit enter and you are in) and is like that no matter which of the 4 users are loged on. Oh yes, there is another issue with ACCPAC on that 3rd machine that bothers me. Permissions on the data folder are set to Everyone=Full Access. Either of these users can log onto ACCPAC on the 3rd machine from one of the old users Windows logon. ![]() These 2 users can access ACCPAC on 2 of the machines (server included) but on the 3rd machine one user gets an error=113 message while the other gets error=98. I created 2 new users with Power User rights last week. ![]() Each of 4 users wants to be able to use any machine. ![]() Here's the setup: a 3 machine peer to peer Win 2000 network running ACCPAC Advantage 5.1.
